Huwag Mo Nang Itanong - Eraserheads
Field trip sa may pagawaan ng lapis
Ay katulad ng buhay natin
Isang mahabang pila
Mabagal at walang katuturan..

“Ui si NAT!” - nagmamadaling sabi ni Ronn nang makita ang litratong ito ng lumang Pulp Magazine Cover, sa loob ng anniversary compilation book na PULP Celebrates 10Years of Panty Dropping Music History.
Natuwa ako kasi.. tama siya. haha! =)

bawat bata may tanong, ba’t ganito? ba’t ganon?
kailangang buksan ang isipan, sa Science o Agham!
tayo na sa SINESKWELA, tuklasin natin ang Siyensya
buksan ang pag-iisip, tayo’y likas na scientist
The show Sineskwela during my elementary days created a wee of excitement every time I turn on the television around 9 in the morning. Classic characters include the boy named Agatom, Anatom, Palikpik, Bok and Ugatpuno.

A Prop From The Eraserheads Fruitcake Music Video from 16 years ago
You can see the flyer in action here.
This was long before I even wanted to be a director. I was in 3rd year high school and my adult dreams were to have enough money for video games & picha pie. Someone I knew was a production assistant on this music video & I asked/begged to be part of it. I was tasked to make this flyer. I drew it on paper & it was risographed to make hundreds of copies. I also painted a few prop signboards & carved the “E” on a styrofoam sun flower which they attached to the drums. The video was shot in Cubao where Fiesta Carnivale (now Shopwise) used to be. Sobranng klig na kilig lang ako nun. I got paid 200 pesos that day. Pinambili ko ng bacon cheeseburger at rootbeer float sa A&W tapos may tira pang 150 pesos na tinago ko buong summer.
Good times, good times : )
Haw Flakes
What it is: Those yummy tart discs of a Chinese fruit called hawthorn. It comes in rolls of seventeen discs.
Why we loved it: We used to play first communion with them with everyone taking turns being the “priest” and receiver of the haw flakes. And it was impossible to just…
look at what i found inside the baul.
these make me feel so giddy, i feel like a high school girl again. *squirm*
