Dinner at North Park - Araneta Center, Cubao
Ultimate Noodles, true to its name, is a dish served in a stone bowl and has everything from Prawn Dumplings to different mushrooms and veggies to choice meat pieces! The soup is thick and blends well with the noodles too.
It kinda felt like we struck gold inside a treasure chest, cause this dish has the variety of tastes and textures you’d only expect to get for a higher price. So this one’s definitely a winner! (Php238)
Egg Custard is North Park’s newest dessert. I’ve been eyeing this each time we pass by the branch and finally I had the chance to taste it! At first I thought the serving was a tad small, but it’s more that enough for us to share because it’s creamier and thicker than the usual leche flan. Mmmm.. such a treat!! (Php78)
BUSOG at MASAYA! Sa uulitin ah. =)
Guess who’s on the Bajo de Arco.. =)
peanuts love.

GEE’s First Anniversary!
After work, we ate dinner at Gerry’s Grill Glorietta 5 - Sizzling Pork Sisig, Bagoong Rice and Brownie Ala Mode. Simple yet satisfying. (^^,)
6 November 2010, Saturday
Before finally going home, we went to The Chocolate Kiss Cafe at Scout Tobias Street QC. It wasn’t planned, i just craved for cake, that’s all. haha.
Ronn ordered the BBQ Sandwich while i chose the Garlic & Mushroom Pasta. Both plates were great, we loved how the meat in the sandwich was well marinated and the pasta had a bit of a kick.
We ordered the Chocolate Kiss Suite for dessert since i couldn’t choose only one. We tried the Dayap Chiffon, Carrot and of course Devil’s Food. SARAP!
This has been the best Saturday we’ve had in a very long time.

Ronn and I watched Green Lantern at the Shang Cineplex. I must say, the popcorn was the best I’ve tasted so far (probably because it’s free! haha). Seriously speaking though, I’d probably watch movies there more often because of that. *nomnom*
I also like Blake Lively better as a brunette. =P

It’s so nice to see you baby
I heard that you were asking about me
And that’s so funny cause I was asking about you
Let’s get away from the stormy weather
Somewhere that nobody would ever know our face
And you look so beautiful don’t you ever change a thing
A sudden revelation
This might sound crazy but maybe let’s take a vacation
Cancel all of your plans girl, we’re going somewhere tropical
I promise I will take care girl
Cause it might seem illogical
No one can interrupt us when the sun comes up
Cause all the 9 to 5s are working
Swim in the coral reef making love on the beach
Oh girl I wanna spend the summer with you
Ain’t it nice in the sunshine baby
The ocean looks a million mirrors of your love
And I must say that I’m happy that you’re here
And it’s ok you don’t have to speak
Cause I’m really digging on you
And I hope I don’t wake up
Summer dreams eternally
A sudden revelation
This might sound crazy but maybe let’s take a vacation
Cancel all of your plans girl we’re going somewhere tropical
I promise I will take care girl
Cause it might seem illogical
No one can interrupt us when the sun comes up
Cause all the 9 to 5s are working
Swim in the coral reef making love on the beach
Oh girl I wanna spend the summer with you

6 November 2010, Saturday
How we spent the eve of our 11th month of togetherness:
We went jogging around UP and we saw that some of the stalls at the Bazaar were open. We were planning to just have a look but we ended up buying a lot of stuff.
We bought wholesale nachos and chocolate-chip cookies, 2for180 clothes, 10php-worth items (a deck of cards, pack of marbles, an adapter, bracelets, a small christmas lantern and a bubble solution). haha.
Our longest stop was at a book stall, we couldn’t choose what to buy since almost all that we wanted were there (Chuck Palahniuk, Mario Puzo, Ayn Rand etc.). There were even Psych books which i needed back in college and i just exclaimed — “Kung kelan ako grumaduate tsaka pa kita nakita!”
What made me extra giddy was the fact that all the books were in very good condition, if not brand new, being sold for a fraction of the bookstore prices.
We ended up buying Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, the book which made Ronn so happy by just looking at it, he looked like a kid with a new toy! Look how happy he is! (^^,)
Good thing that book stall will be open till the end of December, i’d still have time to save up for the other books i want to buy. (I’ll come back for you Chuck.) =D
