Before finally going home, we went to The Chocolate Kiss Cafe at Scout Tobias Street QC. It wasn’t planned, i just craved for cake, that’s all. haha.
Ronn ordered the BBQ Sandwich while i chose the Garlic & Mushroom Pasta. Both plates were great, we loved how the meat in the sandwich was well marinated and the pasta had a bit of a kick.
We ordered the Chocolate Kiss Suite for dessert since i couldn’t choose only one. We tried the Dayap Chiffon, Carrot and of course Devil’s Food. SARAP!
This has been the best Saturday we’ve had in a very long time.

What the show “Willing Willie” did to Jan-Jan Suan, the 6-year-old boy who was told to simulate a striptease while in tears in exchange for cash in front of a cheering studio audience, was criminal, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) said Tuesday
Is this what passes for entertainment nowadays? Tsk.

How we spent the eve of our 11th month of togetherness:
We went jogging around UP and we saw that some of the stalls at the Bazaar were open. We were planning to just have a look but we ended up buying a lot of stuff.
We bought wholesale nachos and chocolate-chip cookies, 2for180 clothes, 10php-worth items (a deck of cards, pack of marbles, an adapter, bracelets, a small christmas lantern and a bubble solution). haha.
Our longest stop was at a book stall, we couldn’t choose what to buy since almost all that we wanted were there (Chuck Palahniuk, Mario Puzo, Ayn Rand etc.). There were even Psych books which i needed back in college and i just exclaimed — “Kung kelan ako grumaduate tsaka pa kita nakita!”
What made me extra giddy was the fact that all the books were in very good condition, if not brand new, being sold for a fraction of the bookstore prices.
We ended up buying Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, the book which made Ronn so happy by just looking at it, he looked like a kid with a new toy! Look how happy he is! (^^,)
Good thing that book stall will be open till the end of December, i’d still have time to save up for the other books i want to buy. (I’ll come back for you Chuck.) =D

This is what we did for our Lucky 9th. Nothing too fancy but everything’s extra special. Ronn fetched me from work and we rode a bus like we always do. We ate dinner then went to Mcdonald’s before finally going home.
He gave me this panda puppet, the new Basta. Now we can have Jeff Dunham sessions every weekend! haha.
The family recently went to Puncan, Nueva Ecija to visit the folks and pay our respects to our late Lolo Yani. Part of the child in me came back that weekend and i’m so happy for our youngest brother, Uno, who enjoyed his first visit to the province.
We ate Tilapia, Tinapa, Arroz Caldo with native chicken, lots of sweet native corn and much more. Here’s how one corn looked like -well, at least before i ate it. haha. Some of its kernels weren’t able to mature, see?
I’d choose this one over the cultured kind any day. *nomnom*
